Only 1 day left till 2013 ends. For me this year was an amazing year full of happy memories and cheerful days. I will leave this year with a smile on my face.

To conclude it perfectly, I'm going to share with you what I'm especially grateful for:

1. Health! Being healthy is for me the most important thing in the world. Nothing scares me more than one day realizing that something is wrong with my body. I'm always telling myself that I have a strong body that won't let anything bad happen to me. Apparently it works! Since birth I never had any serious illnesses. As long as I only have lack of iron, I'm absolutely happy. =)
Not only my own health is important to me, but also the health of the people surrounding me. My Family and Friends mean the world to me, if something would happen to them, it's like something would happen to me.

Believing in miracles is sometimes not such a bad idea... maybe there IS someone powerful watching over us.

2. Friends! This year I met a few new friends and they made me feel so blessed!!
It's not the amount that counts, but how happy they can make you with their only presences.

Everything is more fun, if you have someone to share it with.

3. Planes! Have you ever thought what if it's not possible to travel by plane?!? Imagine how difficult it would be to travel from one country to another. To think that the plane is one of the safest transportations, is kind of impressive.
This year I flew for the first time a long-distance flight. I went from Zurich to Tokyo and back again. It was so excited and I finally have experienced by my own how it is. I really don't have any problems with flying, on the other hand I think it's exciting!!

4. Music! This year was a year full of many comebacks: 1D, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Demi Lovato, Henry and many more. Music has filled my life since long ago. It's a really important factor in my life. I can not imagine a life without my IPOD!! For some reason I prefer using my Ipod instead of my phone for listening to music.
This year I also had the honour to attend two concerts that I didn't even dream of attending!!
Thanks to an amazing friend that I met in Japan, I was able to buy a concert ticket for the Super Show in Tokyo Dome. I was soooooo lucky that my friend called me 1 day before the concert. With her help I still got a ticket from a sold-out concert. This is what I call luck!!! :D
Being part of the Sea of Sapphire was such a blessing I will never forget it! =)
The other concert that I attended was TVXQ's Time Concert at the Yokohama Arena.
I think it's already luck seeing one of your favorite bands.. so do you think I had suuuuuper luck?!? I saw both of my favorite bands in one year!!! With that luck I should have played lotto!!! Maybe I would have hit the jackpot!! xD

Super Junior's Super Show in Tokyo Dome - Sea of Sapphire

5. Family! I was far away from home for 6 months and this made me realize how important it is to have a loving family. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't home-sick at all. But still coming home to your family is always a nice feeling. I don't even know how to describe this feeling, I just don't have the words for it.
*I'm not posting any pictures of my family because I want to beware their privacy* =)

6. Youtube and Blogging! Youtube has opened me so many doors. I was watching videos on youtube for some years now, but this year I finally decided to film my own videos. At the beginning it was kind of awkward, but now I'm loving it!! I started blogging before Youtube. At the beginning I was really bad at it. I didn't know about what to post and I posted pretty rarely. Now I'm very much into it and the ideas are just running into my head. xD Youtubing and Blogging have given me something that I really like to do.

My KPOP inspired makeup looks

7. My interest in foreign languages! I never believed that I was good in anything. I was never good in sports, my creativity was limited and I didn't have any talents. The fact that I grew up with 2 languages gave me the ability to learn different languages easily. I made it my goal to never stop learning languages and studying them has become my passion and my strength.
This year I intensified my japanese by going to Japan.

Just because I like languages doesn't make me a good student... xD

8. Dogs! Truly are men best friends!! My dog passed away last year in December after she stand by my side for 15 years. I spent my entire childhood with her. She became something like a sister to me. Her presence brightened my life.
We didn't take a new dog after her and her absence is noticeable... There is no one under the table to who I can hand over the meat that I don't like, no one to remind me to go out take a walk, no one that starts to bark because a stranger is in the house, no one awaits me at home with a happy face as if I went away for an entire century, no one that without words can cheer me up.. I really miss my dog!! Sometimes when I'm alone at home I look towards the door and imagine how it would be nice, if my dog would walk through there to remind me that she's there for me... Having a fur friend is much more precious than a human friend! I'm truly looking forward to the day I finally will have a new dog. A dog is men's best friend, he will never betray you!!

My dog Sally

9. My country! Many times I wondered why my grandparents had to come to this country, which is so boring and the summers are so short... Now that I've lived over 20 years here I came to realize how grateful I should be that I was born where I live. I went to school, learned a job and found a job! I have health insurance, a home, daily food and always clean water.
Those were things to me that I though were normal, but I came to realise that having all that is actually luck....
You only realised what you have, until you don't have it anymore.

St. Gallen in the middle of November

10. Visiting Japan! This will probably be the highlight of my life. I can't really tell that visiting Japan was my childhood dream, because I don't recall that back then I knew that the Animes where originally from Japan. When I was little I always wanted to be part of those animes. Living like they did and wearing a uniform for school.
Well of course there is no Sailormoon that transforms herself in the middle of the sky and needs 3 minutes for it, but there are things that really reminds me of animes, like the walkside from a river or the streets sometimes. All this makes it really magical.

Kyoto Imperial Palace Garden

11. Believing! Dreams come true! It doesn't matter in what you believe, holding to it can be your strength to move on in any situation. My believe made me move on in parts of my life that were hard for me. This year I fulfilled a dream of mine, that I would never had imagine to fulfill. Never give up on your dreams!! Some dreams may remain dreams, but others can be achieved. :) Fight for what you want and never give up.

Disneyland Resort Tokyo - Where fairytales become reality

12. I've changed! You wonder why I should be grateful for that?!? Easy! I lost myself a long time ago. When I looked in the mirror I didn't see me, I saw someone that I hated. I lived for a long time believing that everything sucks.
This year I found my inner peace. When I look in the mirror now I'm happy to look at myself, I love myself! I'm not perfect, but it's perfect for me. =)
The most noticeable change is definitely my change of hairstyles in the past few months. I cut my "oh sooo loooved" long hair, shorter and shorter to suuuper short! Never would I have imagined cutting them, if it would be me one year ago. They were the only thing that I was proud of. Now I can't even imagine having long hair again. Ahhh people change in a weird way... xD

13. Live you life your way! I always did what people told me to do. This year I broke the rules. I did what I wanted to do and I never regretted one decision that I made for 1 second.
Don't bother what people say they will always criticise you for something. Just do what you want as long as it makes you happy.

There is nothing wrong with a Monalisa that doesn't laugh perfectly ;P

This year was the best year since a long time and if 2014 is going to be as awesome as this year my happiness will reach it's limit... haha just kidding xD I'm open for even more happiness!! =)

Sakura in Tokyo

..... I could go on and on, there is soo much that I'm grateful, but my brain just blew of and I'm out of ideas. xD
Writing this post made me feel so good. You really should try it too!!

County your Blessings, not your Problems!!

Dolly Wink pencil eyecolor Cream lame (ラメ) Review

At the beginning of my journey in Japan, I came across this pencil in a store in Shinjuku. I got super excited and bought it immediately.

I'm a huge fan of Tsubasa Masuwaka's brand Dolly Wink. There was not one product from that brand that I didn't like.
I had high expectations for this product as well!!

Product description

Dolly Wink is with Candy Doll created by the famous japanese Gyaru Tsubasa Masuwaka and labeled under Koji company.
This brand offers you a wide range of dolly look creating products.

Today's product is the pencil eyecolor in cream lame. This product is used on your lower eyelids.
This product is for creating a dolly look or better said the fake undereye bags, which is really popular in Asia.
I'm not really into this fake eyelid thing, but I Iike applying a lighter shade to my lower eyelids because it gives me a brighter look.

The product comes in a pencil form. It has a lid on top and you have to sharpen it.
It looks really cute. The lid has a flower shade and unfortunately the lid is to large for the pencil and it falls off everytime.

How it works

It says that it's a waterproof pencil and beside your eyelids you can also apply it on your waterline.
On a few reviews I read that it applied smoothly, but when I tried it on, I had the feeling that you need to press a bit more than with other eyepencils. Be careful not to hurt your eyes.
It really does a great job in brightening and in faking the eyebags. =) Great job Tsubasa!!
It stays on for about 6 hours. No need to reapply it or fix it.

How it looks like

It's a light highlighting color with a shimmery golden touch to it.

Down below I wanted to show you how it looks like:

  • I applied it on my lower eyelids.

without eyecolor

with eyecolor
without eyecolor
with eyecolor

Personal opinion

It might be that I choose a default one, but I have to sharpen it everytime I use it. I have between the color and the pencil a hole, which makes the color stick really fragile. I can even move the color stick!! If I'm not careful I can get hurt with the wooden edges.
This was the reason for me disliking this product for a long time. I was never using it.
Recently I decided to study it and while testing it, I came to realise that it would have been an amazing product if it wouldn't be for that defect.
If someone else owns this product, let me know if your pencil is also breaking often!?

All-in-one Tsu-chan did a great job in creating this product. It really makes you look soo dolly!! =)

Empties: December 2013

I decided to share my empties through my blog instead of youtube. The reason is that I don't like to keep the empty bottles around me.
This way I can take a picture before throwing it away and I can accumulate some products, before sharing it with you guys. =)

It's kind of funny how the product decide to get empty all together.

SK-II Facial Treatment Essence

I got this product only at the end of September 2013. It lasted me for almost 3 months. This bottle contained 75ml. It was one of the smaller containers.
I applied it everyday morning and evening, as the first step right after my cleanser.
So far I really liked it, but I couldn't see in which way this product should have been better, than the Missha First Treatment Essence that I was using before it. If you want to know more about this check out the Challenge.

I decided to not repurchase it, because I will get back to the Missha Treatment Essence.
I personally think this essences are great products and have to be included in everyone's skincare routine.

Missha Cell Renew Snail Cream

I got this product a while ago, maybe it was June 2013. I purchased the entire Cell Renew Snail line and this product was the first one that was finished. My other bottles only just passed the halfway.
I realized already a few months ago, that this product is not really long-lasting. I even skipped really often this step and still it's already empty. It only contains 47 gr. and that could be the reason why it's already finished. It's really sad, because I like this product a lot. It's not oily at all, it doesn't feel sticky and my skin looks great with it.
I applied it as the last step in my skincare routine after the moisturizer.

I'm still not sure jet, if I'm going to repurchase it or not. Back in time I thought it was worthless, but I'm not so sure about it now. I will keep using my other products for some time and if I see that my skin looks worse, I will definitely repurchase it.

Loreal True Match Concealer

At first I thought that this concealer was not covering at all, but I realized that if I apply it with my bare hands instead of a brush it works much better.
The thing that I don't like about this product is the packaging. It's almost impossible to use all the product that's inside of these containers. There is always a leftover at the bottom, that you can't pick up with the brush. It's sooo freaking annoying. With that remaining product, I probably could go on for another week or more.

Clinique Exfoliating scrub

Sorry for the picture. This is how these types of packaging usually end up in my house. xD We always cut open the packaging to take out the remaining product and trust me there is a lot inside these tubes.
It wasn't the greatest scrub, but it definitely past the sensitive test. I have really sensitive skin and this scrub, even if it felt really harsh, didn't make my skin irritated at all.
It smelled like teeth paste and had small little sand sparkles inside the cream for it's exfoliating properties.
I used it once a week and it contains 100 ml.

These are actually all of this months empties. Well I had a few other products, but I accidentally throw them away. xD

*.* Merry Christmas *.*

The Challenge: Sk-II Facial Treatment Essence vs. Missha The First Treatment Essence

Two products made from the same main ingredients, but different priceses. Doesn't this challenge sounds interesting?!?
I was blessed to have the honour to try both products. Finally I decided to compare these two products with each other.

My first product was from Missha. It's essence completely changed my life. (Check out here more about it) After using this product for a few months, I came across the SK-II Essence at the duty-free section at the Narita airport. I couldn't resist and had to buy it. I only got the small bottle, because I was almost out of Yen.

I can't imagine my live without using one of these essences anymore. From the moment I started to use these types of essences, my skin has changed drastically.

Probably the most famous japanese brand ever. Not only because of the Facial Treatment Essence, but also because of their other products.
Many girls dream to own this company's products, but many can't afford buying them.

A korean skincare brand, mostly known for their BB Creams. They offer high-quality products and are well-known in many countries. The prices are really reasonable

Seems like a battle of two countries. =)

You might would think that these two products are identical but they are not. It starts already from the main ingredient.

Main Ingredient

Both products main ingredient is fermented yeast extract, but there is a thiny difference.

SK-II - Pitera

SK-II has the only right in using Pitera, which is a sake-based component. It was discovered back in the 70's in Japan, when they started to wonder how come the sake-brewers always had soft and youthful hands.
They started to make researches about yeast and they found that component in it, which they called Pitera .
The essence contains 90% of Pitera.

Missha - Fissione

Missha instead uses a component called Fissione. This component is a cerevisae-based (belongs to the Fungi family; also used for winemaking, baking and brewing). They say the essence contains 80% of this ingredient.

Both companies call their ingredients "miracle" components. They are both naturally delivered.

Other ingredients

  • Saccharomycopsis Ferment Filtrate         The so called Pitera: Moisturizing, Antioxidant
  • Butylene Glycol                                      Solvent, Moisturizing
  • Pentylene Glyco                                     Moisturizing
  • Water                                                    Solvent
  • Sodium Benzoate                                   Preservative
  • Methylparaben                                     Preservative*
  • Sorbic Acid                                            Preservative

  • SACCHAROMYCES FERMENT FILTRATE                             Moisturizing
  • PROPANEDIOL                                                                   Solvent, Moisturizing
  • GLYCYRRHIZA GLABRA (LICORICE) ROOT EXTRACT           Anti-Inflammatory, Whitening
  • POLYQUATERNIUM-51                                                        Moisturizing
  • RAFFINOSE                                                                        Moisturizing
  • PENTYLENE GLYCOL                                                          Moisturizing
  • GLYCERIN                                                                           Solvent, Moisturizing
  • BETA VULGARIS (BEET) ROOT EXTRACT                             Pigment
  • HYDROLYZED CORN STARCH                                              Moisturizing
  • CENTELLA ASIATICA EXTRACT                                            Anti-inflammatory, plant extract
  • PHENOXYETHANOL                                                             Preservative
  • CHAMOMILLA RECUTITA (MATRICARIA) FLOWER EXTRACT                  Fragrance, anti-inflammatory
  • ROSMARINUS OFFICINALIS (ROSEMARY) LEAF EXTRACT                    Astringent, plant extract
  • PHELLODENDRON AMURENSE BARK EXTRACT                 Anti-inflammatory
  • TROMETHAMIN                                                                    PH ajuster
  • WATER                                                                                Solvent
  • ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN                                                       Moisturizing
  • HYDROGENATED LECITHIN                                                  Emulsifier
  • LACTIC ACID                                                                         Astringent,Whitening
  • SODIUM HYALURONATE                                                       Moisturizing

As you can see the ingredient list from Missha's essence is by far longer than the SK-II essence.
It might appears that with all those ingredients it might be bad for the skin, but I did researches on those ingredients and there was nothing suspicious. On the opposite, I noticed that Missha has also whitening and anti-inflammatory ingredients, which the SK-II doesn't have.

Both are alcohol- and oilfree.

*Unless SK-II, Missha is paraben-free

The benefits

SK-II - 5-in-1

  • Texture
  • Radiance
  • Firmness
  • Even Skin Tone
  • Wrinkle Resilience

Missha - 8-in-1

  • Defining
  • Lifting
  • Hydration
  • Rejuvenation
  • Anti-Wrinkle
  • Tone Balance
  • Restoration
  • Radiance

More or less both products have the same benefits. Missha has slightly more than SK-II.

When to apply

Both products are applied the same way:

  • Right after cleansing the face, as the first step before your moisturizer.

This is probably the most interesting part of this entire post.
SK-II is 3 times more expensive than Missha.

Let's compare the price for a bottle of 150ml:

Missha             $52.99

SK-II              $155.00

Difference      $102.01

As you can see there is a big difference in the price!! With the price of one SK-II bottle you can almost buy 3 bottles of the Missha essence!!

I took the prices from both official US-Websites.

The result of using these products

In my review on this product, I swore by it!! I still stand for it. When I started to use this product, my skin was full with acne, red spots, uneven skin texture, uneven skintone and dull. Basically I could look in the mirror and I felt like crying.
I remember that it didn't took much time until I noticed process while using this product.
My skin has become much better. I don't have many breakouts, they seam to heal faster. I have less red spots and my skin tone looks more even.

I started to use this product right after the Missha First Treatment Essence. I was using it for about 2 months.
I didn't really noticed much of a difference in the first months. I thought that this is the limit at how powerful these essences are. After all they saved me.
In the second month I realised that my skin has improved even more. I basically only have hormonal acne which is really hard to get rid of and surely not with skincare products. The red spots have almost gone away. My skin looks more hydrated and feels really soft.

I would say that the Missha First Treatment Essence has the faster healing process. They also claim that you should see results within 4 weeks.
As for SK-II it first appears that it doesn't really work, but it just takes a bit more time for it to show results.
Basically both products do what they promise. Both are incredibly amazing.

Outcome of this Challenge

This leads me to one conclusion. If both products are amazing, why should people buy a product that's much more expensive than the other one that's almost the same, when not better? Is it only for the name? Then again Missha is not a drugstore brand eighter. It is a really precious brand just like SK-II.
It appears to me that SK-II is soon forced to lower their prices.

As it looks like Missha was really trying hard to beat SK-II with their own Essence. What do you think about it? Did they manage to take down the luxurious brand SK-II?
Let me know down below what you think about it.

As for me, I will probably switch back to the Missha Treatment Essence, just because it was the first product that I used and it changed my face completely.
If I would have started first with the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence, I would have probably used it forever, despite being that expensive.
I just feel more familiar with products that show me a great result and that's what happened with the Missha Treatment Essence. =)

Etude House Sweet Recipe Chocolate Highlighter Review

I can't believe it!!! I've been using this product since forever, but I still haven't done a review on it...
LOL.. Did this ever happen to you too?!?
Well better late than never. =)

So let me introduce to you my favorite highlighter at the moment. If you are following me on Youtube, then you already know, that I'm using this product in "almost" every makeup tutorial. If you are not following me on Youtube, I would be sooo thankful to you, if you would take some time and check it out. If you click above on the sites on "Videos" you will directly be linked to my channel. Thank you for all the thumb ups and for following me. =) Means a lot to me <3

Product description

As mentioned before this is a highlighter, that you use on your face to highlight the spots that you want to give special attention. It comes with subtle pearls that provide luminousity.
This highlighter belongs to the Sweet recipe line from Etude House.
In this line all the products have a cute candy looking packaging.

Etude House has definitely shown us again that they really care about their packagings. Look at this product. It really looks like chocolate. Super adorable how the inside even looks like chocolate. Sooo cute. If it comes to packagings then Etude House is definitely the leader in creativity. Good job Etude House! =)

How it works

This highlighter comes in 3 different shades. You can use them individually or mixed together. I usually mix them. For that you basically just take a blush brush and swipe over all 3 shades and just apply it on your face.
It stays on the whole day, it doesn't look oily and it gives your skin a really natural glow.

How it looks like

The camera doesn't show it at its best, but you can slightly see a difference between the two pictures.
I applied the highlighter on the bridge of my nose, a little bit on my forehead, on my chin, above my lips and on top of my cheeks right below the eyes.

without Highlighter

with Highlighter

Personal opinion

Well I've been using this product not for no reason. I love it!! It gives my face such a nice natural glow. The packaging is way to adorable. Honestly if you come across this product, give it a try. =)

Girls Drama: Less is more - Giving my skin a break

When I woke up this morning I decided to give my skin a little break. No heavy eye makeup, no bb cream or fondation and no powder. I really wanted it to keep it as simple as possible.

Taking a break from all these beauty-products is great, if you have damaged skin. Your skin itself is the best weapon for repairing the damage.
By layering one product after the other we are not giving the skin time for regenerate itself. On the other hand, some products that we apply on our skin could damage our skin more then we would imagine.

These are the products that I put on my face today:

  • Nivea Visage Tinted Day Cream for all skin types
  • Max Factor by Ellen Betrix Eyebrow Pencil
  • Maybelline Dream Lumitouch Concealer
  • Labello Fruity Shine Raspberry

I usually wear much more than only these products, but this week I want to give my skin some time to breath.
My mom gave me this tinted day cream from Nivea some time ago and I really like it. It has a light coverage and doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything. It stays on the entire day and doesn't make my skin oily at all.
Since this cream didn't cover up my dark circles and some impurities and still applied a little bit of concealer. This concealer also brightens up my entire appearence.
As a contrast to my non-makeup face, I wanted to give my brows some definition and draw them thicker and fuller.
To finish my look I applied a tinted lip balm.

How about you guys? Do you sometimes give your skin a break or do you wear makeup everyday?

Long-stay Trip MUST-HAVE - 10 Beauty-Products - Asian version

Dear Friends,

I'm soon leaving for Japan again. (yeeeeey :D 楽しみにしている).
I was already there this year for 6 months. I only planned to stay there for 3 months, so I didn't bring along many things.
As I decided to stay longer, I had to stuck up on some things. Unfortunately there were things that I missed from back home and they didn't offer it like I wanted it to.

So here are some beauty-products that I advice you to bring with you to Japan or Asia in general. Remember that's all my personal opinion!! =)

It might be because japanese girls don't really use a lot of eyeshadow, so priming the eyes would be totally unnecessary. Rest assure it's impossible to find any good eye primer in Japan.

That's maybe not an Asian thing to contour the face. Well actually you can find bronzer in Japan. I found mine in ThebodyShop. Still the choice of bronzers is not as big as we are used to.

Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadow

As mentioned above japanese aren't eyeshadow users. I think that's the reason why they don't sell those eyeshadows in Japan. Seriously I missed them soooo much!!!!

I did the mistake and only brought a few brushes with me.... Honestly take your full kit with you whereever you are going. It's so hard if you are an owner of good quality brushes, to not use them for almost 6 months....

Naked Palettes

If you are an owner of the Naked palettes, then take one with you. They don't have Urban Decay in Japan. I'm still not sure which palette I should take with me actually.
Which one would you recommend? =)

Favorite Perfumes

I'm a perfume addict. I love having a choice of perfumes. I decide to pack with me my 2 favorite perfumes.
Here I'm taking with me my Giorgio Armani Mania and my Coco Chanel Mademoiselle.

..... I kind of couldn't come up with other beauty products that are necessary to take along. I decided to add some other things that I would suggest you to take along.

For non-asian it's necessary to take along underwear. They have different sizes and it's really hard to find the right size.
I accidentally forgot my swimsuit back home and it took me such a long time to finally find a swimsuit that more or less was wearable..

Intimate Products

I don't like using new brands, I want to have those products that are familiar to me. I always thought that the brand that I was using was internationally known, but I had to realise that it wasn't like that.

Nutella/Favorite Snack

Having something with you that reminds you of back home is always a good thing. ;)

If you are like me someone that catches a cold really quickly, then make sure to take along your medicine from hometown. For each country the medicine is developped differently and it's the best to have the medicine with you that you are familiar with.

Let me guys know what yours 10 must-have beauty products are!! =)

Etude House Fresh Cherry Tint Fresh Cherry Pink Review

I had this product laying around for quite some time. I guess that's what happens, if you own too many products and never stop buying new things.

Anyways I just found this lip tint between all my other lip products and decided to analyse it. :D

Product description

Etude House has a wide lip product range. Here I wanted to talk to you again about another Lip tint. It consists of a really smooth texture and gives the lips a really natural finish.
Let's talk about the scent of this product!. It really smells like cherries!! It's like cherry chewing gum. =) Can you imagine it?!? Amazing, right? ;)

This tint is in the shade "fresh cherry pink", there are two other shades. "fresh cherry red" and "fresh cherry peach". A red and peachy color.

As mostly all the products from Etude House, also this one looks really cute. It kind of looks like a nail polish.
It has a really soft applicator and it gives you a really precise application.

How it works

This lip tint is not really pigmented. It applies really smoothly. It feels moisturizing and soft on the lips. Even thought after about 2 hours it starts to dry out your lips. So you have the possibility to reapply another layer to make it feel moisturized again or you apply a lip balm.
The color is not really pigmented but makes your lips look really natural. Which is also what was written in the product description. The great thing about this tint is that the color is really long lasting.

Fresh Cherry Pink

Down belong you can see how this shade looks like when it's applied.

Personal opinion

There is something about this product that I don't like, but I still haven't figured out what it is. Maybe the fact that it dries out pretty quickly is irritating me. Then again the color is soo long lasting... Hmmmmm let me know what you guys think about this product. =)

Etude House Dear Girls Tint&Lip Balm #PK001 Review

Etude House belongs to one of my favorite brands, if it comes to packaging and innovativity. They always surprise us with something new and the packagings are super cute.

Product description

Today let's talk about this lip product.
It belongs to the "Dear Girls" line and is a two-sided lip product. On one side it has the Lip balm and on the other it has the Lip tint.

Lip balm

The lip balm has a really nice citrus fruit scent. It is really moisturizing and makes your lips really soft.
It looks pinkish, but once applied you can't see any color at all.

Lip tint

The best way to apply this lip tint is with the brush.
That brush gives you a really precise application also in the small corners of your lips. First it feels really watery, but after some seconds it start to dry.
The lip tint has for some reason a cinnemon scent.

How to apply it

It doesn't say on the packaging which side to use first. At least not in english, excuse me if it's written in korean....
Anyways I tried both ways and it's possible to apply it eighter way.

It's a really small size. It contains 2ml of lip tint and 1.8 gr of lip balm. It seems like it was made for people that travel a lot. It has a round shape and fits in every small bag pocket.
The lid of the lip balm is a bit loose and sometimes it fells off, especially if you are holding the product from there.

How it works

It surely passed the food and drinking test. The color was still there and still moisturizing on the lips. It's actually kind of a persistent product. The color wouldn't even go off with makeup remover.
Although after some time it starts to look really natural. The color is still on, but looks more natural. =)
It feels great wearing it.

The Shade #PK001

Down below you can see how the color looks on my lips. It's a really nice berry red color.
If I'm not mistaken there has to be another color, but I'm not sure anymore. It should be a lighter color.

My Personal Opinion

I'm usually not a big fan of lip tints because they tend to dry out my lips...
As I saw this product in the Etude House store, I was thinking and rethinking if I should give it a try. I finally decided to buy it, I didn't regret it at all. I really love the texture of this product and the color is just amazing. I'm really happy about this choice.
