Missha Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Skin Care Routine Review + Skin Care Routine Video!!

During the past few years I've changed my skincare routine many times.
I finally found a good skin care line, which I really like for my skin.
When I was in Japan one of my friend introduced me to the Missha Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail line.
Like me my friend was suffering from acne. She told me that she was using one of these product and everytime she had a breakout, she would just apply a bit of this product over the spot and the next day it would be almost gone.
This really got my attention and I asked the Missha staff, if I could have some samples. She actually gave me from the entire line samples. (This is a great service that Missha has. I always receive so many samples =))

I really liked the texture of the creams and my skin wasn't showing any signs of allergic reaction. So I decided to give this line a try.

First of all, you need to know my skin type:

  • dry skin
  • acne-prone and damaged
  • uneven texture
  • really sensitive

Super Aqua brand

This is a water based brand. It's based on Ice Plant Water, Blue Lagoon Water and Damask Rose Water to keep the skin hydrated.
It's a really gentle formula to mantain the skin moisturized and healthy.

Cell Renew Snail line

This is another sub-group from the Super Aqua brand.
This line is composed by snail slime. This component contains repairing and regenerating powers.
Missha developped this moisturizing and nutritive line for costumers who needs to recover from damage and strenghten their skin barrier in a natural way.
Snail slime is a really precious component, since it takes 6 hours to get 1 gr. of slime out of a snail.

The products from this line do all feel really moisturizing and are not sticky nor oily.
There is a special scent to the products. It smells like nature. I could imagine that some people don't like it. I personally don't have any problems with it.

Does this line covers up for my needs

Let's compare every single skin problem that I have with this line:

  • dry skin
    • This problem is covered with the Super Aqua brand.

  • Acne-prone and damaged
    • I can really tell that I have less breakouts. In the past I had suffered horrible breakouts and suffered from irritated skin and this lead my skin to damage. This line is meant to treat damaged skin, so I'm perfectly covered with it.

  • Uneven texture
    • Uneven texture is cause by build-up of dead skin cells, sun exposure and what for me is important DRY SKIN. By moisturizing my skin I can fix this problem, which makes this line perfect.

  • Really Sensitive
    • It says that this line recovers the skin in a natural way, which leads the products to be not too harsh.

Skin Treatment

This treatment or also toner was the one product, that my friend suggested me. She was using this treatment to cover up her acne spots.
This toner is a bit different than the usual toners, it is not 100% fuild. It is slightly thicker than a toner, but still enough fluid.
It absorbs right after application into your skin. Your skin feels really soft and moisturized after starting to take this product regularly.

It contains 30% snail extract for a glowing skin.

Essential Moisturizer

This moisturizer has a milk creamy texture. When you apply it on your skin it creates a thin layer on top of your skin to keep the moisture inside your skin. Right after application, it feels really cooling, which feels so great.
I like to let it stay for about 15 minutes before applying the cream. But that's just me you don't have to do that.

This is a lotion and essence in 1 bottle. It moisturizes the skin while repairing the damaged skin cells and strenghten them. It contains 40% snail extract.

This cream is actually transparent. It is slightly thicker than the moisturizer.
I sometimes skip this step. It kind of makes me feel like I applied already too much product.
Althought I just realised that this product comes with the most snail slime extract, so it probably has the most effect on my skin, if it comes to the damage repair.

This cream contains 70% snail extract. It has soothing and hydrating effects. This cream also contains baobab tree extract and deep sea water complex for providing extra moisture.

Instead of in a bottle it comes in a small container and an applicator is included in the packaging, which is important for the hygiene.

Sleeping Mask

I don't apply this mask everyday. Only once or twice a week. Like the whole line it's a really non-sticky cream. It feels really moisturizing. My skin feels really soft the next morning when I wash my face.

This sleeping mask brightens and makes your skin healthier. It contains 15% snail extract.
It provides the skin firm and rejuvenates while you are sleeping. It provides vitality and energy to your skin.

This skin care line also offers a cleanser. Which I didn't purchase and I still have the sample somewhere lying around. I never was really interested in it, because until now I was satisfied with my cleanser.

How effective was this skin care line

In the past 8 months (from April 13 to September 13) my skin has changed immensely. Partially it's because of this skin care line and partially because of The First Treatment Essence from Missha.
Just a few days ago I was watching at a picture that I took right at the End of 2012 and it was shocking for me to see how bad my skin was back then. Compared to then now my skin looks practically flawless, which is still not really true, because it's still really uneven and here and there I have damaged spots. The thing is I was embarassed to take pictures even with makeup on, so just imagine how bad my skin was. Now I don't even mind going out without even any makeup on.

This skin care line is by far my favorite at the moment. I love the texture of the creams and I can tell that my skin is still improving a lot. Since I started to use this line, I basically only have hormonal acne, which is really hard to get rid of.
My skin texture is still really uneven and I hope it will change as well as soon as my skin is enough moisturized.

My Skin Care Routine

I also did a Video about my Skincare Routine where the Missha Cell Renew Snail Products are included.

Candy Doll Blush Review

When I was younger, I never used to be a blush-person. Now I really like to apply blush.
Sometimes when I'm not in the mood to apply too much makeup, I just go for a bit of blush and mascara.
Blush gives your face much more personality.

Here I want to introduce to you the blushes from Candydoll.

Candydoll is a japanese cosmetic-brand developped by the famous japanese Gyaru Tsubasa Masuwaka.
It's a cosmetic brand for those who wants to achieve a dolly look. The products do all look really cute.
Dollywink is Candydoll's sister brand. Candydoll concentrates on the face makeup, while Dollywink is specialized for the eye-section.

The blush comes in a transparent small container. It doesn't come with a applicator nor has it a mirror inside.
The container is well-made. The blush can't fall out and it doesn't break.
It's a nice size for travelers.

The shades

I own 2 blushes from Candydoll.

left: strawberry pink and right: peach pink

left: peach pink, right: strawberry pink

I purchase them online on yesstyle.

I believe that there are other packagings and colors available in Japan. They also offer "Candy Pink", "Pink Flamingo" and "Rosa Pink". These blushes are actually in duo packagings. They come with a highlighter. Check out Candydolls official website.

Peach pink

This is how the peach pink looks like. I applied quite some layers just to make it stand out a bit more.
I would describe it as the typical gyaru blush. That perfect pink to give you a real dolly look. It also makes your skin appear more flawless.

I'm quite not sure why they call it "peach pink", I would say it looks more like "baby pink".

strawberry pink

At the moment this is one of my favorites blushes. It's a pretty shade and gives your face a nice color.
A little bit of this blush goes a long way. =)

These blushes are made of good quality. They stay on for the whole day. I never broke out because of them. It's really easy to blend them in and they are really pigmented too.

On Yesstyle they sell it for about 16 EUR. In Japan you can get them for 11 EUR. As you can see it's less expensive in Japan. Well it's kind of obvious though.

Good way to keep your skin moisturized during the day

Not everywhere but at some parts of the world it's getting really cold. In winter your skin needs more moisture than during the other seasons.
If you are like me already the type of dry skin, then you definitely need even more moisture than other people do.

I usually wear during the whole day makeup and there is no way that I could apply any moisturizer now and then.

Here is an easy way to moisturize your skin during the day, without the need to think about it always.

In the morning when you are about to apply makeup, take your fondation or bb cream.

Here I'm using a bb cream from TheFaceShop.

Take a moisturizer. I would recommend one that is more on the watery side.

I've been using the Water Bank essence from Laneige.

Mix them together and apply it on your face.

Finish it off by fixing your makeup with powder.

Easy right? The moisturizer will keep the moisture inside your body for the whole day. Don't forget to drink a lot of water!! =)

How I got rid of my dry hair / Product Review

Since I colored my hair, they have become really dry. It wasn't new to me that I had dry hair, since my hairstylist told me earlier this year that my hair was dry, but I never really felt it while touching my hair. Lately on the other hand, when I was touching my hair, it felt like I was touching straw.
I knew that I had to do something about it.

I'm not the type of person who likes to apply a ton of products into my hair. I wanted some simple and effective products.

The following products were the most effective against my dry hair.

Herbal Essences "Long term relationship"

I have mentioned this product in several other posts and again I have to tell you guys that this line is amazing!!! For some time I wasn't using this product at all. As my hair became really dry, I started to reuse this line. I'm using the shampoo and conditioner.

This line is actually meant for long hair, but even if I have short hair now, I use it and it works wonderful.
It's meant to protect the hair from damage and splits ends. It also makes your hair really soft and good-smelling.

Vitalcare Professional Protective&Moisturizing Hair Mask

My mom got me this mask earlier this year when I told her that I had dry hair.
I usually used to apply once a week a hair mask for about an hour. I stopped doing that when I was away in Japan for 6 months.
When I came back home, I started to reapply hair masks again.
Before even using the Herbal Essence products, I applied this hair mask on my hair. I let it on for about 1 hour and then rinsed it off. Right after rinsing the mask off, I could tell a huuuuge difference from before.

This mask is specially made for dry and weakened hair. It makes your hair bright, shinier and softer.

The result is simply amazing!!

Seriously guys, there are two worlds between how my hair felt before using these products and how they feel now!!! I think they never were this soft and shiny as they are now!! I looove touching them, it feels so soft!! =) I'm really satisfied with the result.

If you are suffering from dry hair, use a moisturizing hair mask and shampoo for damaged hair. It will really help you to restore the damage.

Girls Drama: Work out with me - Train hard like a beast, look like a beauty

My Past - How did I mantained my body fit

When I was a teen, I never used to workout. I only did that bit of sport at school. I was never interested in any kind of sports and I was also too lazy to workout daily. A fitnesscenter was to boring for me and I knew that it would only be a waste of money, because I would go at the beginning and then stop.

When I turned 21, I discovered Zumba. I loved it a lot and it was so much fun. I went once a week to Zumba classes.
I stopped going to Zumba right before going to Japan.
For some time I wasn't working out at all, until I discovered a special youtuber.

This youtuber was a fitness-instructor. Her name is Cassie and her channels name is Blogilates.
I loooove her youtube-workouts. She is such a motivating instructor. Even thought she is only virtually here I'm kicking my ass off to do the workouts properly. I don't know even if I have never met her personally, she feels like a friend. =)

At the Moment - Working out with Cassie

As I came back from Japan I was working out daily, which is really impressing compared to what I used to do before.
I can tell and feel that my body has changed a lot. Well I never had weight problems to begin with, but I have really weak muscles and I wanted to shape my body.
I can definitely tell that I have more muscle than before.

The first 2 weeks of working out

At the beginning of working out, I had a lot of trouble to keep up or to even do the workouts. Sometimes I felt really bad, because I couldn't do the moves. It was really depressing and I thought I would never be able to do it, but with her help and motivation, I managed to keep up and try even if it was hurting as hell.

I get used to it

After after some weeks I felt so much better. I can keep up with her workouts. Not all but more than before. Working out became quite of an addiction!! I'm really starting to love the pain. I also have my regular workout-videos that I do everyday.
I really like working out with Cassie. She is an amazing person.

If you are interested in her channel than click here. I just wanted to share my thoughts about this amazing youtuber!

Here is how my Everyday Workout Routine

This is my first exercise that I do. It's great for the lover body-muscles.

Greatest leg workout ever!!! I looove it and seriously the "elvis's" are killing me everytime.

This is my favorite workout ever. This workout is great for your belly-abbs.

It's a funny workout and I bet it only works because it's 1D xD. Seriously I can't feel my ass anymore after this exercise..

My researches on dry acne

As I told you in my previous post, I found out that I have dry acne. Since I have never heard of this term, I went on google and made all sorts of research on this problem.
Here is what I found out about this type of acne.

What is dry acne?

Dry acne occurs when your skin is dry, but you still break out.
This type of acne is really common, especially for adulthood acne.
It's a really difficult type of acne to get rid of.

What are the causes of dry skin?

  • Your oily acne-prone skin can change to dry acne-prone skin by using too many medicated anti-acne products. Most of the anti-acne products are really skin-drying and by overusing these products your skin type can change, without even noticing it.
  • It can be caused by over-cleansing your skin.
  • Winter and low humidity can cause dry skin.
  • Long hot showers
  • chemicals included skin care products

How can dry skin cause acne?

If your skin is dry it means that important mineral oils are missing and at this point your skin is weak.
Weakened skin is more prone to acne. Bacterias and chemicals can penetrate deeper into your skin.
Your skin is more vulnerable to infections caused by acne and chemicals included products can cause inflammation to the skin.

How to get rid of dry acne?

As mentioned above it's really difficult to get rid of these acne type. . The best way to get rid of these problems is by not using anti-acne product, but only concentrate in treatening your skin. First of all, your skin needs moisture.

Here are some tips on how to improve your skin:

  • Try to avoid plain soap, it removes your natural oils from your skin, which can lead to acne.
  • Drink a lot of water. At least 8 glasses per day. Water will keep your skin hydrated and reduces acne.
  • Change your cleanser to a cleanser that was specially developped for dry skin. It could be that your dry skin was caused by using the wrong cleanser.
  • Use a moisturizer. It will hydrate and provides a protecting layer against dirt and toxins. Go for a gel moisturizer and make sure that it doesn't clog your pores.
  • Avoid chemicals!! Many anti-acne products contain many harsh chemicals. Try to not use them.
  • Avoid product with salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide or alcohol
  • Wash your face only twice a day.
  • Use cold water or luke warm water instead of hot water. Hot water dries out your skin too.
  • Use a humidifier. If you want to go for a cheap way, keep water near your heater.
Missha Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Essential Moisturizer, Laneige Water Bank Essence, Vaseline Original

I've been writing a lot about moisturizer in this post. So how to find the right moisturizer?!?

First of all, a moisturizer is a mixture of water and fats. They contain substances to attract moisture. They seal the moisture inside your skin by creating a layer of fat above your skin.

You can find moisturizer in different types:
  • Cream: contains more fats than water.
  • Lotion: contains more water than fats.
Lotion type

Choose an oil-free moisturizer. They mostly contain silicones and glycerin. Oil-based moisturizer contain mineral oil, petrolatum or shea butter which are most likely to cause acne.

The best time to moisturize your skin, is right after showering. While showering water penetrates into your skin. To keep that water inside your body, apply a moisturizer to lock it in.

Don't exaggerate in moisturizing your skin. Of course your skin needs moisture, but applying a moisturizer 5 times a day won't make your skin look better. On the opposite side, over-treatening your skin could make it break out more. To be save moisturize your skin not more than 3 times a day. Make it morning, evening and after showering.

Girls Drama: My spontaneos Skin check-up at the Sisley corner

Something really interesting happened yesterday. I was walking home and just wanted to check something quickly in a beautystore, when suddendly that lady came up to me.
She told me that she used to be a beautician and now she is working as a representative of Sisley company.
This is a french cosmetic company that works with natural ingredients. Quite pricy though.
Anyways that lady asked me, if she could do a skin check-up on me. Since it was for free I agreed.

So this is what I found out about my skin. Part of what she told me wasn't new to me.

My Skin Type

  • reeeeeeeeeally sensitive (she was saying that sooo many times xD)
  • dry skin (I know that at the moment, my skin is really dry. My skin couldn't handle the sudden change from wam to cold season. It used to be oily, but lately I've been noticing that my skin has become drier and drier :S)

My problems

  • Dryness
  • Partially Hormonal acne (Really hard to get rid off)
  • Dry Acne
    • Wait what?!? xD Never heard of that before. Apparently it's a really hard to get rid of acne. :S

Her recommandation

  • She told me to use a cleansing mousse to remove my makeup. She told me to stop using any cleansing oils!!! They would clog my pores and my skin will break out more. This acutally really surprised me. I thought that since I started to use cleansing oil I had less breakouts. Then again she said that if I want to finish up the product, I should use a cleansing soap afterwards. I always use a cleansing foam afterwards, which probably is the reason why I don't break out.
  • Moisturize my skin!!!! My main goal should be to concentrate on moisturizing my skin. Ok, let me tell you, Winter broke out here in Switzerland and it totally suprised me. I wasn't moisturizing my skin enough in advance and so I ended up with even drier skin. xD I actually stopped using any toner, because I think it has drying properties. I'm really only concentrating on moisturizing my skin as much as possible.

What about my acne?

She couldn't really tell me more, just that I should concentrate on moisturizing and it will look better.

These are the samples that I got

It was kind of an interesting check-up, but I could tell that her main reason was to sell her products. She put all sorts of creams on my face and was trying to convince me that they already were working.
The worst part about this check-up was that she was about to reshape my eyebrows!!! :O Noo wayy I worked so hard to grow them back and in a straight way... She didn't understand asians way at all...
Well anyways it was my first skin check-up ever and it was really interesting.

Dolly Wink Brow Pencil Review

All my Gyaru and asian cosmetics freak are probably really familiar with Dolly Wink.
For those who don't know what this is, here a little explanation.

Dolly Wink

Dolly Wink is a japanese beauty brand produced by the famous Gyaru Tsubasa Masuwaka. It was launched in 2009 by the Koji group.
Tsubasa Masuwaka has another brand called Candydoll. This brand concentrates on the face makeup, while Dolly Wink concentrates only on the eye section.
Probably their most popular products are fake eyelashes and liquid eyeliner.
As the name already reveals Dolly Wink and Candydoll products are meant to achieve a dolly look.
Don't worry you can also use it for other purpose, it's not that those products transform you in a doll. ;)

Product description

The brow products also belong to the eye section, so they are sold under Dolly Wink.
These brow pencils come two-sided. On one side you have the pencil and on the other side you have the brow brush.

I have two different shades. In all they offer 3 different shades.

  • No. 1 Honey brown (really light almost beige with a yellow tone, meant for asian blond hair)
  • No. 2 Chocolate brown
  • No. 3 Dark Chocolate
left: Dark Chocolate, right: Chocolate brown

Price: 735 Yen = 5.44 EUR

What it says

  • Soft crayon tip
  • Non-sticky
  • Smoothly application with light touch
  • Long-lasting
  • Color is good blendable
  • quick application
  • No fading nor running during the whole day

How it works

I first fill in and shape my brows with the pencil. Afterwards I blend in with the brow brush to give it a natural finish. If you want you can fix it with a brow mascara, but that's really just optional.

My natural brows
Chocolate brown

As you can probably see, on the sides of my brows you can tell that the color is slightly lighter than my actual brow color. At the moment I'm having colored hair and this shade really matches with my hair.

Dark Chocolate

This shade totally fits my brows perfectly.

My personal opinion

I am a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge fan of Tsu-chan's Cosmetic brands!!! I wish I could own all her products!!
I've been using this brow pencil in the shade "Dark Chocolate" for over 6 months and look at how much product is still left!!!
It really stays on perfectly and gives a really natural look to the brows.

The different types of Concealer

Concealer... a must have in every girls makeup-bag. This product could be a lifesaver!! Trush me. ;)
Today I thought about learning more about the different types of concealer.

  • Cream concealer
  • Pencil concealer
  • Fluid concealer
  • Apparently powder concealer

I have almost used all of them, except for the pencil and powder concealer. I actually never saw a powder concealer.... what about you guys??

Cream Concealer

This type is something in between a fluid and a pencil concealer.  It goes from light to strong coverage. You can easily mix two different shades together to get a new color out of them. Sometimes it tends to be really drying.
You can apply this product with a concealer brush or with your bare hands, make sure they are clean though.

undefined - Face - L'Oreal Paris
Source L'oreal Paris Website

Pencil Concealer

Really similar to the cream concealer. Its texture is also really cream. Just that instead of a pot, this concealer comes in a pencil form. It makes it really travel-friendly.
It's really easy to apply. It provides great coverage. You need to get the right shade, since it's not possible to mix different shades together. You don't need any tools to apply this product, since you can apply it directly on your spots that need coverage.

Fluid Concealer

This is probably one of the most used concealer. It is really similar to the cream concealer. Its coverage goes from light to strong. It's a great concealer for dry skin types.
It possible to mix two different shades together. It comes already in a packaging where an applicator is included.

Source: L'oreal Paris Website

Powder Concealer

It's apparently something new. It has a good coverage. It works great for oily skin types. You shouldn't apply it on wrinkles, since it would give them more definition.

Ps. Have you guys ever seen this type of concealer? If yes, what do you think about it?

How to blend in the concealer

It doesn't matter what type of concealer you are using, well except for the powder concealer, since I don't know how it works xD, I would recommend to blend it in with your bare fingers.
I used to always blend it in with a brush and recently I started to blend it in with my fingers and the result is so much better!! The coverage is better, I need less product and I don't need to wash any tools.

My personal favorite

Until now cream concealer have convinced me the most. They have a great coverage and stay on for a long time. I'm a huge fan of the concealer from Missha Perfect Cover and Revlon Photoready .

I have used many fluid concealer, but they never really convinced me. The coverage is not that great as the one from a cream concealer. Probably the best concealer till now has been the Maybelline Instant age rewind eraser .

Girls Drama: The benefits of short hair

As you might know, at the end of September I cut my hair short.
I used to have long hair and step by step I cut them off. If you want to know more about it click here.

It has been over 1 month since I had cut them. I haven't cut them since then and they are starting to get longer again. Soon I'll be able to tie them again. It's crazy how fast they grew, isn't it?!?
So far I never regretted cutting them for 1 second. Having short hair is really amazing!!
Still I decided to let them grow a bit for now. ;) Still not sure what to do with them. =)

Let's make it sure: I'M TALKING ABOUT SHORT SHORT HAIR!! :D (like on the pictures ;))

So let's see what are the benefits of short hair:

  • Dry in no time: Seriously without even vacuuming it takes not longer then 30 minutes for them to get dry. Crazy isn't it. =)
  • They are never in the way: Whatever you do, you don't need to tie them up.
  • They are styled in no time: You don't really need much to style your hair.
  • Less haircare products: Well less hair on the head and less product you'll need.
  • They are sooooo light!!!haha weird but that was the first thing that I thought when I first cut them.
  • Hot Days = Short hair are a blessing. Especially in those countries where it gets really hot.
  • It's easier to keep them healthy.
  • If you have a bad hair day, just put a beanie on your head!! Well that also works for long hair though. xD

The bad sides about short hair:

  • For some fancy hairstyles gel is needed: Leads to wash the hair everyday....
  • I need to use the flat iron everyday: Not really healthy for the hair.
  • If you want the hair to stay short, you need to visit the hair cutter frequently. Not good for my wallet. :P
  • It takes longer to grow short hair...
  • Most of the boys prefer long hair!!!! :O Well I don't really mind if they do... xD but it could be bad if "the boyfriend" doesn't like short hairs...
  • There is a limit on the amount of hairstyles. I don't know if I'm just a newbie if it comes to styling short hair, but I can't imagine many different styles for short hair.
  • Some heads aren't meant for short hair!! It has many reasons behind it. It's just like the color green, not many people can wear it. =)

Honestly, It might be that my hair are easy to keep. No matter if it's long or short I never really had problems with them. =) Must be my asian blood flowing through my vains... :D

Did I missed something? What do you guys prefer short or long?

Hairstyling Products Review (Kanebo Sala + Mandom Gatsby)

To style short hair, you can't avoid hairstyling products. They keep your hair in place. I never used to apply hairgel on my hair, so I'm really unfamiliar to these products.
As I cut my hair the hairstylist told me to go buy some hair gels or wax.
Right after cutting my hair I went to the beauty store and purchase two different products.

Kanebo Sala Hair Styling Wax "Moving Arrengements Wax"

Product description

This product was placed in the women section of the store. It's meant to style short hair.
It has a really nice scent to it. It slightly smells like lemons.
It contains 90gr. of product. The texture is kind of hard.

What it says

  • Moving up the hair (I think they mean that it gives volume to the hair)
  • Long-lasting
  • It is also a treatment, since it contains Honey.
  • Gentle fragrance

How it works

Take a small amount and rub it between your hands. Knead it all over your dry hair until you get that desired look. It doesn't work on handtowel-dry hair.

As you can see my hair have a lot more volume, but they all reach to the same direction. It looks still really elegant.

My personal opinion

At first I didn't like it. After using it for several times I started to like it. The smell is really nice, gives it a really feminine touch. The hair feels really really soft and it's not sticky. When you touch your hair you can feel that there is product inside, but it's not uncomfortable. Your hands don't get sticky.
The product feels really hard inside the packaging, but when you have it in your hands, it becomes quite creamy.
It kind of takes a bit more shampoo to wash it off. Also I wouldn't recommend to go to sleep without washing it off.

Mandom Gatsby Moving Rubber "Wild Shake"

Product description

This product is really popular in Japan. It's actually a product for men, but who cares.
It is amazing. It seriously can transform your hair into Son Goku when he is transformed. xD
No wonder this brand is so popular in Japan.
The texture is actually really creamy. It contains 80gr. of product.
The smell isn't that great, but it's bearble. You don't smell anything when it's applied.

What it says

  • Specially made for short to medium short hair
  • The texture makes it easy to shape and style your hair as many times as you want
  • Second strongest styling power among this brand
  • Creates spiky 3-dimensional look
  • Paraben-free
  • Moveble Texture
  • Feels not tacky nor sticky

How it works

Take a small amount out of the packaging and rub it into your hands. Knead it all over your dry hair until you get your desired style.

I was thinking that it maybe would hard to wash it off, but what a surprise!! It's not at all hard to wash off. Just wash it off with your shampoo.

My personal opinion

The first time I tried it, I wished my hair would stop growing long for just being able to use this product. xD
The texture is really amazing! Your hair stay in place the whole day.
It actually is a little bit sticky. I wouldn't recommend you to touch your hair when you're outside, since it makes your hands sticky.
You have to wash your hands after applying it, because of the stickiness.
I love how it looks like. It gives you still a really natural looking finish. It doesn't make your hair hard.
You need to wash it off before going to bed.

The differences

As you can see from the pictures, they both give a total different result. The Gatsby is more on the messy side, while the Sala is more a neutral-elegant way of styling your hair.
