Liquid Eyeliner Review

Recently I've been really into liquid eyeliner. I always used to apply eyeshadow, but since it became really hot and humid here in Tokyo, I started to only apply eyeliner. Maybe it's also because here in Japan the girls don't really use a lot of eyeshadows. They always tend to look as natural as possible.

I've been testing several Eyeshadows now and I wanted to let you guys now what I think about them.

Koji Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner (5/6 points) 1260 yen

This eyeliner comes in two different shades: black and brown.
It was created by the famous japanese Gyaru Tsubasa Masuwaka.

I really really looooove this eyeliner. It used to be my favorite eyeliner because it was so easy to apply. The colors are really matt. The brown looks actually really natural, as if you are not wearing any eyeliner at all.
It creates a beautiful thin line. It doesn't smudge. It stays on for about 6 hours.
I recommend not to use it in really hot days, because it tends to smudge a bit on the ends of the eyelids.

The packaging is really cute. The brush is really thin and it's easy to draw a thin line with it.

It's kind of hard to purchase this product outside of Japan. I used to buy it on

Maybelline Hyper Sharp Liner (6/6 points) 1260 yen

This Eyeliner is one of my absolute favorite eyeliner. The brush is really thin and it's so simple to draw a thin line. It stays on for about 10 hours and doesn't smudge at all.
I've been using it during these hot days a lot and it never disappointed me.
It is a beautiful matt black. The packaging looks pretty cool too.

Etude House Drawing Show Brush Liner (4/6 points) 1100 yen

This liner is really great. The color is really matt and pitch black. It stays on for the whole day, I would say about 8 hours and doesn't smear. It's really easy to apply it. The brush is a bit thicker then the others, but it's still possible to draw a pretty line with it.
The packaging looks like a pen.

It is online available on

Maybelline Lasting Drama Pen Gel Liner (2/6)

This is a really unique Liner. It tend to be a bit difficult to pull out the right amount.
It has a special applicator that seems to be kind of hard for applying, but it is actually not that of a big deal. It's possible to draw a really thin line with it. I still prefer the usually pen liquid eyeliner because they are easier to apply.

Unfortunately it tends to smudge during the day. I tend to have dark lines on my eye crease.

Maybelline Lasting Drama gel Liner (4/6)

This product comes with a double sided brush. It has a lining brush and a smudging brush. It's really easy to apply it. It stays on for the entire day without smearing.
I really like the gel liners from Maybelline, they last a long time and don't smear at all.

The brush is ok. It is kind of small. I prefer using bigger brushes than this one.
After using the brush you should always wash it, or the bristle will become really hard and it gets hard to apply the gel on the eyelids.

Let me guys now what your favorite Liquid Eyeliner are. =)

Shiseido Perfect Oil Review

Recently I started to use cleansing oils to remove my make up.
I used to avoid all oil based products because I thought they would cause acne.
Actually it's not really like that. There are some oils that are actually good for your skin.

Before removing my make up with the cleansing oil, I used to cleanse my skin directly with a cleansing foam without removing my make up first.
Even though the products I was using were specially made for removing make up, it still felt a bit weird.
I decided to first remove all my face make up before washing my face.

In Japan cleansing oils are really popular. If I'm not mistaking this cleansing oil is one of the best selling cleansing oil in Japan.
Shiseido is well known worldwide for their amazing Skin Care product. In Japan Shiseido as many different Lines and a lot of products are not known outside of Japan.

  • It removes waterproof makeup and blackheads, leaving a fresh feeling behind.
  • It protects the skin moisture.

The packaging was really practical. It came with a pump, which is really important for me.
The smelling was pleasent. One bottle contains 150ml.

How to use it

Before washing your face, remove your eye makeup with an eye makeup remover. Then massage the cleansing oil all over your dry face for about 2 minutes. Rinse it off with luke warm water, then proceed with washing your face and your usual skin care routine.

Why using Shiseido Cleansing Oil?

After starting to use this product, my skin started to feel differently. It felt more softer and even. I felt like giving my skin vitality. I had less Blackheads than before.
My skin felt more moisturised.

Using a cleansing oil before washing your face is definitely better, than removing your make up while washing your face.

My Favorites: Maybelline baby Lips Review

About Maybelline Baby Lips

The Maybelline Baby Lips are lipbalms. They are called Baby Lips because after a week your lips should feel like baby lips. They are moisturizing for 8h. They come in different scents and shades. They are drugstore products.

I have at least 10 of these lip balms. Quite of an addiction. For me they are the most amazing lip balms ever!! Unfortunately I still haven't seen them in Europe.

Until now I've seen 3 different types of them:

These are the first one that I purchased. I think they are the asian version, since I only saw them in Asia or on asian online shops. I purchased them online on

They come in many different flavors and they have SPF20. They actually are my favorite among all of them. They are really moisturizing and they smell good. Unfortunately they are not tinted.

They cost 300 Yen.

They come in 6 different scents:
6 - Mango Pie
4 - Energizing Orange
5 - Cherry Velvet
2 - Anti-Oxidant Berry
1 - Fresh Mint
3 - Sweet Chili

Glow Edition
2 - Mixed Berry
1 - Mixed Berry

This edition has a light shade, that gives your lips a rosa shade.

Limited Edition
2 - Protecting Berry

I was introduced to them through some beauty gurus on Youtube. I think those are the american version. I found them by coincidence in a store in Tokyo.
They are quite different from the others. They come in different shades and smell incredibly good. On my opinion compared to the others they aren't as moisturizing as them. It appears that they also don't have SPF.

They come in 6 different shades:

25 - Pink Punch
15 - Cherry me
  5 - Quenched
10 - Peppermint
20 - Grape Vine
30 - Peach Kiss

I just got them recently while grocery shopping. I was suuper duuuper exited, as I saw that they were tinted lip balm.
They are slightly different from the other asian version.
They all have the same mint scent and they only have SPF13.

They cost 500 Yen.

They come in 5 different shades:

2 - Pink Addict
3 - Pink Lolita
5 - Coral Flush
4 - Poppy Red
1 - Sweet Peach
